Our trail network is very popular. Squamish residents use the trail system a great deal and people come from around the world to enjoy our trails. I support doing all we can to maximize the community feeling in Squamish and trails play such an important part in that. When we see our neighbours out on the trail network the personal connection is strong. The distractions are few. We need to invest in the trail network and ensure our paths are safe and as much as possible accessible for trail users of every type. For those who feel they've lost connection with the community a hike or bike ride is likely in order.
