Those words were all they needed to paint me and the rest of Squamish Council as a group that needs to be stopped.

The Tumbler Ridge tragedy is not “about trans people.” Just as acts of violence are not “about” race, religion, or sexuality simply because a perpetrator belongs to a particular group.
