Industrial land is in short supply from the Fraser Valley up to Squamish. In the near future Squamish needs to prepare more land for industrial use. We have land potentially available. A bit of work is needed to get it to a usable state.
When more industrial land is available for use more local jobs will be created.
Industrial vacancy rates in the Vancouver area have been at or below one percent for some time with no sign of any improvement any time soon. Squamish is well positioned to tap into this shortage.
